  We had a wonderful stay as a family, the location was perfect, 10 minute walk from the beach, plenty of amenities for us to have family bbq’s and big group... read more meals. Boogie boards, towels and blankets there ready to be used, amazing space for a big family and in terms of communication Lucy couldn’t do enough for us. Amazing host with excellent communication. The place was clean and tidy. We loved our stay, thank you for rolling out the welcome mat for us 🙂

  We had a lovely stay at Dream Land Cottage -- 4 adults and 2 young children. Excellent, clean facilities and Lucy responded well to our few questions. The only drawbacks... read more (which did not spoil our stay), were * a heat/smoke alarm which went off a number of times without good reason* more storage for our clothes in the bedrooms would have been useful* a folder with instructions about how to use equipment (eg TV) would have been helpful, so that we wouldn't have needed to ask Lucy.The immediate neighbour family were also very friendly and helpful.

Large fridge/freezer with cold water and ice on tap . Fantastic place for catering group of friends or large party without tripping over each other . Would certainly recommend to others and stay there again ! Easy check in and out and secure parking ideal for motorbikes or scooters

It was... read more a great base for us as it only took 10-15 mins to walk to Margate seafront and a short drive to Whitstable and Broadstairs. We liked the fact the property is gated and it was super easy to get in and out.

  My friends and I enjoyed a few days in Margate to celebrate our collective 40th birthdays. The location of the property was perfect, walking distance from the seafront, bars /... read more restaurants, caves and shopping spots. The property itself is was clean and very well decorated (loved the art) and had that home from home feeling, which you don't always get from some air BnBs. There are also deck chairs and cool towels you can borrow but we didn't end up going to the beach, but loved the extra touches.Lucy gave us a list of local recommendations beforehand, which was handy as none of us are familiar with the area. We enjoyed wondering down the lanes with all the vintage shops, stopped for cocktails at Wildes and then for dinner at an authentic L 'Olivio Italian, best pizzas ever. I am not massive into given reviews but felt like I had such amazing weekend and was seamless to arrange with the thanks of the host. Definitely coming back.

Walking distance from the beach and a quick drive to the supermarkets. Lucy is amazing and was reachable and responsive throughout our stay. Not a negative thing to say about this home and host!

There was adequate space for 2 children to play on the main floor. Unfortunately weather did not allow use of large patio but it looked inviting.

  Dreamland Cottage… where to start?Firstly, we had such a lovely, wholesome trip to Margate. The cottage was the most perfect base for us, 2 x mum friends, 2 x 19... read more month old babies and a 10 year old. The cottage is deceiving large, all the bedrooms are great sizes. The decor is so beautiful, it has given me great inspiration. The place was spotless on arrival and the kitchen had every utensil you could ever need on your break away! The house was super easy to find, particularly with the host’s directions. The cottage is gated which made us feel really safe and secure, particularly as I was there alone with my baby the first couple of nights. I felt really safe knowing it was just us and the neighbours who could get past the gates. That was a massive plus for us. Lucy the host was absolutely amazing! So warm and personable. Lucy gave us some great tips of where to visit which was super handy for us having never been to Margate. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

  We loved our stay as a family in Dreamland cottage! It was the perfect place to retreat from London for a few days with a visiting family member. The cottage... read more is tucked away in a quiet and secluded location, you would never know it was there but very clear instructions to find it. Easy private parking. It is an extremely relaxing cottage, lovely interior, very clean and everything you could need. There is lots of living space especially downstairs with 2 communal areas alongside the 4 bedrooms. We loved enjoying the firepit in the garden too. Kitchen and living room upstairs is cosier but really comfortable.Everything we needed was there, and beyond: including beach towels, kids games, blankets for the garden and a welcome treat. It is a 10 minute walk to the seafront and we loved exploring a new part of the Kent coast. Brilliant hosts with fantastic communication before and during our stay. Everything clearly explained and very easy checking in and out. Would definitely recommend!

We had everything we needed during our stay as the house had excellent amenities. Real plus points for us was the kind neighbours , fab garden space and the ample parking. The house is just a short 10 minute walk into town. We would definitely recommend this property if you are a large group.
